Thanks for visiting and I do look forward to your feedback. I have created this site to share my knowledge and expertise in the realm of financial planning. As an expatriate based in Dubai, my financial planning services are often geared towards other expats in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East region. My advice however is not limited to the Middle East and I do work with expats in other regions of the worldas well.
The financial services industry is constantly evolving and changing as society and laws change and this site will give me a good platform to share my views. We have recently seen a change in legislation in the UAE which has put a cap on commissions and introduced additional disclosure requirements. This is mostly good news for the consumer as we should see increased transparency and improved advice. If you would like any information on the changes, please let me know.
My aim is to use this site to discuss topics that are relevant and that will provide real value to you, the reader. As the old saying goes, “There is no such thing as a stupid question.” Please do post a comment or send a message if you have any financial planning questions that need answering. I will either respond to you directly or create a blog post if I believe it will assist the greater audience.
